Frequently Asked Questions
Player Mentor
Can we go through my shifts?
Yes, but it is up to you to clip, upload and give me access to them in a google folder.
I love to go through shifts with students, it allows me to get an idea of how they see and process the game around them.

How do I join a group?
On the Calendly booking page, you will be able to the number of “seats” remaining for any given time. You can join any group by joining one with skaters already registered.
You can reach out to me, and I can try to place you in a group. I typically don’t worry too much about age or skill level (to a degree). If you have concerns, reaching out would be a great way to join a group you are happy with.
You can put together a group and reach out, in which case I will reserve a time slot specific to your group.

What does “overall hockey education” mean?
We will cover, highlight and dissect a multitude of skills, mechanics, tactics and overall hockey concepts.
We will use your clips, as well as, NHL, college and junior film to highlight whatever the aspect in focus may be.

Does it matter who I skate with?
No! Typically, regardless of a players current skill level, the obstacles they will find throughout a game are similar. Yes, there are differences to speed and skill level as players progress through the ranks. However, I am a firm believer there is also something to learn from players of all skill levels.
At the end of the day, when you are on the ice with me, we are all after the same thing. To get better, and we help each other along the way in pursuit of it. I grew up skating with players 4-5 years younger and older than me, which I found to be of great value upon reflection.
